Peel

The skin comes off in one long strip

Push the apple on, rest the blade against the skin and turn. The blade follows the curve of the fruit, so you are not steering a knife around it.

Core + slice

Cored and spiral-sliced in the same turn

While it peels, the corer runs through the center and the slicer cuts an even spiral. Ready for pies, lunchboxes or applesauce.

How it works

From whole apple to slices in four steps

No knife against a round apple. The machine holds it; you turn.

Push the apple on

Press the base onto a smooth counter, then push the apple onto the prongs.
Set the blade and turn

Rest the peeling blade against the skin and start turning the handle.
Peel, core, slice

Keep turning. The blade peels while the corer and slicer work through the center.
Slide it off

Pull the cored, spiral-sliced apple off the shaft and it is ready to use.

Honest product, delivers what it promises.
Operation is not that simple, there are adjustments to be made and there is no indication or manual on how to proceed.

Will the suction base hold on my counter?

It needs a clean, smooth, non-porous surface such as laminate, stone or glass. It will not hold on textured wood or across tile grout.

Does it work on potatoes too?

Yes. It works best on firm, round produce such as apples and potatoes. Soft or very irregular fruit will not peel evenly.

Is it easier than using a knife?

You turn a handle instead of holding a blade against a round fruit, and the base holds the machine for you. It still takes a steady turning motion.

How long does shipping take?

About 11.8 × 3.9 × 4.9 in and about 1 lb. Rinse and dry it after use so the mechanism keeps turning smoothly. The blade is sharp: keep fingers clear and store it out of reach of children.
